Musicians’ Health Series Fall 2009 presents
Yoga for Musicians Excelling in Performance through Proper Alignment and Breath with Yoga Professors Allison Ulan and Laurel Koop
"Our classes aim to bring students into a more holistic and healthy relationship with their bodies. Our classes will be a blend of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga and will involve asana work (yoga postures), pranayama (breathwork), and meditation."- L. Koop
The benefits for musicians include dealing with stress, learning performance coping strategies, and reducing the impact of repetitive stress injuries.
You are welcome to take one class per week, or both.
When: TUESDAYS, starting September 15-November 17 2:30-3:30 p.m.
AND/OR
WEDNESDAYS, starting September 16- November 18 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Where: Wirth Opera Studio, NMB -2 Floor
