Welcome to the M.U.S.A. PDF Print E-mail

M.U.S.A. in an acronym for Music Undergraduate Students' Association of McGill University, an accredited non-profit organization of which all B.Mus, L.Mus, and A.Dip students in the Schulich School of Music are members.

The M.U.S.A.

The M.U.S.A. consists of an elected executive of 10 students, plus several other elected and appointed positions that, together, form the M.U.S.A. Council. The Council holds public weekly meetings during the Fall and Winter semesters, and administers a number of committees chaired by its members. The M.U.S.A. serves as a liaison between students and both their teaching faculty and university administration. As such, we participate in the direction of our School by representing the interests of students, by communicating to them these directions and their outcomes, and by providing services that benefit our university community.

The M.U.S.A. is represented on most faculty committees and its executives meet regularly with the Dean, Associate Deans, and Department Chairs, in addition to hosting two general assemblies per year for students to address their concerns with the entire executive. We are also represented in the McGill Senate, the Students' Society of McGill University Council, and on many campus-wide committees.
